Whitefield verkauft die Omega Projektentwicklung

Whitefield sells the Omega project development.

Datum: 24.08.23

The Berlin-based investment company Whitefield has decided to sell the development division of Omega, which it acquired 89.9% of in July. Additionally, there has been a change in the management team.

To save costs, the entire project development division of Omega, which specializes in residential real estate, will be sold. Furthermore, residential properties will be prepared for sale. The sale of three service companies of Omega has already taken place, and minority stakes have been relinquished. Omega can now focus on its “core competencies,” according to a statement. In addition to development, the real estate AG, founded in 2011, offers asset management mandates for institutional real estate funds. The portfolio includes around 5,000 residential and commercial units.

Peer Grahle has been appointed as the new CEO of the company. He was previously Head of Development at Omega. The supervisory board will be expanded to include Elisabeth Mulisch, Tanaz Vakili, and Farah Vakili. Tanaz Vakili is the CLO and future CEO of Whitefield Investment. Whitefield recently acquired 89.9% of Omega’s shares, with the remaining shares staying with company founder and CEO Ralph Reinhold.
